As an Integrated Care Board (ICB) we take responsibility for planning and buying Primary Medical Services (GPs) from 1 July 2022. In April 2023, we also took responsibility for the planning and buying of dental, optometry, and pharmacy services from NHS England.
We were established on 1 July 2022 when the Black Country and West Birmingham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) was abolished.
